What size will the Build n Wrap extend to?

A Build n Wrap will cover an enormous number of traditional and imaginative gifts. We would strongly recommend that you take a look at out wrapping ideas page. Even if you do not find the exact toy that you are going to conceal, this page will give you an example of something very similar. To give you some idea though, a Build n Wrap will for instance cover a race or rail track at 171.5cm (67 inches) x 138cm (54 inches). The same Build n Wrap can be reconfigured to cover a person 6 foot tall (over 2 metres).

Do I need any tools to erect a Build n Wrap?

No. All connections are push-fit.

Where can I buy a Build n Wrap product?

Your Build n Wrap will be able to be purchased through our own secure payment web-site and be delivered direct to your door. However if you prefer, you will be able to see a full list of our distributors by clicking the link on this site. Those looking for information concerning wholesale purchasing should click the commercial link (top left).

How many times can I use a Build n Wrap?

As many times as you wish. The product is entirely reusable.

Can I use parts from one pack with another?

Yes. All parts are interchangeable regardless of when and where they were bought.

What material is the Build n Wrap made from?

All parts are plastic (PVC or Polypropylene).

What procedures do you have in place to ensure the product is lead free?

Build n Wrap will not source its materials from any organisation that is not fully committed to our own quality policy with specific regards to lead content. In addition to this we make all of our suppliers aware that regular random tests will be carried out at an independent test house in either the US or the UK.

Can I use Build n Wrap to transport my gift from one place to another?

No. We suggest you place your gift in the place it will be opened. Use the gift as a guide to assess the size of frame you need and then erect the Build n Wrap nearby. After adding the wrapping paper, simply place the Build n Wrap over the top of the gift.

I have bought a present for my nephew/niece/Grandchild and it will not be opened at my house. Can I still use Build n Wrap?

If the present will not be opened at your home, you can give the present and the Build n Wrap to the parents. They can erect it quickly and easily on your behalf and the child can enjoy playing with your gift immediately. An added bonus is that you do not need to wrap the present at all! For a full list of the benefits, please click the link at the top of the page.

What can I do if my gift is even larger than a Build n Wrap?

Please take a look at our wrapping ideas page just to make sure. However, if you have done this and the gift really is larger than a Build n Wrap, there is a solution. Any number of Build n Wrap frames can be placed alongside each other to create the size of frame you do need.

What prevents my child from taking a look at the gift before the day?

Build n Wrap is not intended for you to leave the gift for example under a Christmas tree for any period of time before the big day. What we would suggest though is that you prepare the gift at a time convenient to you. Once you are satisfied the gift is ready, you can store it somewhere away from the children. On the eve of the special day, transport the gift to the room where the child will open it. Then erect and place your Build n Wrap over the top to conceal it.

Why don't I just use a regular box to cover the gift?

In theory you can do this. First you will need to find a box large enough to cover the gift. Large stores sometimes have boxes lying around at the rear of their premises. Make sure the box is not damaged along its edges as this will spoil the look. Check there is space available in your vehicle to transport it to your house. Make sure you have the room at home to leave the empty box lying around until you need it. If the box has all six sides then you will need to cut away the side that you are going to place over the gift. You will also need to consider that when your child sees the gift, they will not be able to rip the wrapping to reveal the gift. Someone will need to lift the box back over the gift instead. For the next family occasion, the chances are that the gift will be a different size. A new box will need to be sourced at that time. You can then repeat all of the above stages. Alternatively you could buy a Build n Wrap.

Isn't it part of the occasion to assemble a toy with your child?

It certainly can be. Retail demands dictate that toys are being supplied to the stores in smaller and smaller packages. This means more parts, a more complex assembly and more time is needed. Children are not always the most patient of people. We are also assuming here that there are no missing parts and that the toy functions correctly. Current wrapping methods necessitate the use of sharp cutting tools. During the assembly time, you also need to make sure that no such tools are being handled by your child. Assembling the toy with your child certainly creates a nice image. However, in practice it is better to be prepared with Build n Wrap.

Can I use standard wrapping paper with Build n Wrap?

Yes. We understand that people like to wrap their gifts in paper appropriate for the person receiving it and of course the occasion. We also appreciate that you may have a roll or two at home and do not want to buy any more.
